Windwalker Monk in Mythic+
Windwalker Monk is a very solid melee specialization for Mythic+. Itprovides a good combination of damage output and utility. It has accessto some of the best crowd control spells and very flexible burst cooldowns, such as Storm, Earth, and Fire.
Windwalker Monks are heavily used in high end Mythic+ due to theircombination of utility, AoE damage, and Mystic Touch.
If you are unfamiliar with Mythic+ and its associated general mechanics, youcan read more about it on our Dragonflight Mythic+ page below.

Windwalker Monk Mythic+ Rotation
Both the single-target and multi-target rotations do not change in Mythic+content. For more information about the Windwalker Monk DPS rotation, refer backto the Rotation, Cooldowns, and Abilitiespage.
However, it is worth noting that most of your multi-target output now liesin Fists of Fury. Therefore, it is paramount to make the most out ofthis spell. Avoid delaying it, keep Chi for it, and do not waste it when youexpect extra targets to come in soon.
Against multiple enemies, the rotation is also based on a priority system, and it depends slightly based on how many enemies you are facing.
Keep in mind that Tiger Palm and Blackout Kick (as well as Rising Sun Kick) apply a 15-seconddebuff on their target, called Mark of the Crane. Each instance of thisdebuff increases the damage of your Spinning Crane Kick (against anytarget) by 10%, up to 50%. Therefore, your Tiger Palms and Blackout Kicks should bedistributed among your enemies in such a way as to keep the Mark of the Cranedebuff up on as many targets as possible.
Moreover, you should make use of Storm, Earth, and Fire by using it onceat the start of the fight and then using its next charge when Fists of Fury becomes available again. From then on, simply reuse itwith Fists of Fury, making sure that you never let both of Storm, Earth, and Fire'scharges remain available.

Windwalker Monk Utility
Windwalker Monks provide utility to the dungeon party through strong crowdcontrol, exceptional on-demand burst damage on priority targets, andmobility.
- Roll/ Chi Torpedo/ Tiger's Lust can all be used fairlyoften in a dungeon and are excellent options for repositioning yourself ormaking a quick escape from danger. Tiger's Lust, in particular, can often removedebuffs that deal damage over time or other negative effects if the debuffalso snares or roots the victim!
- Paralysis is a versatile crowd control ability that temporarilyremoves an enemy from the fight. It is best to cast before youpull a group of enemies so that the effect will not be broken by a random bit ofdamage. In addition, you can use Paralysis as an extra interrupt effect in apinch.
- Ring of Peace allows you to forcefully move enemies out of a targetedlocation, bouncing them out of the summoned ring. This ability has alot of possibilities for its application and is remarkably versatile. You can disruptpatrolling enemies, interrupt an enemy's cast, or keep a fixated enemy away fromits target, among other uses.
- Song of Chi-Ji, while generally less useful than Ring of Peace, can allow you to disorient enemies up to 40 yards away for 20 seconds and preventthem from potentially wandering into your path.
- Windwalking, Generous Pour, and Close to Heart allwork similarly, providing an aura to you and any allies within 10 yardsthat grants increased movement speed, Avoidance, or extra healing received, respectively. In mythic+, where there is only one healer, and the group tends to stay close tothe tank, you can provide your entire group with these buffs at nearly all timesif necessary!
- Disable is a snare that only needs to be applied once to an enemybefore your regular attacks maintain its effect. However, be aware that you canonly have Disable active on one target at a time.
- Leg Sweep is your AoE stun effect. With it, you can delay or negatedangerous abilities cast by enemies, or you can use it to survive a dangerouspull for a little while longer while you build up your defenses.
- While Detox may not seem as powerful as a dispelavailable to a healer due to not being able to remove Magic effects, itstill can have incredible usage despite only beingable to remove Poison and Disease effects. These debuffs areoften damage-over-time effects that also reduce damage, healing, movement speed,or other stats. Be sure to pay attention to any debuffs with a green or yellowborder on their icon as potential targets to remove from yourself or others.
