Knoxville's restaurants and bars are good at finding reasons for a party. This Saturday is easy because it's not only Derby Day, it's also Cinco de Mayo. So order your favorite margarita and have the bartender turn the TV channel to NBC. Coverage of the Kentucky Derby begins at 2:30, with post time slated for 6:50 p.m.
In addition to margarita specials, Cinco de Mayo will be celebrated with discounted foodand loads of craft beer products for the daylong — and sometimes monthlong — celebration.

Here's a list of what's to come.
Celebrate Cinco de Mayo all month at It’s All So Yummy Café and Monster Subs, 124 S. Peters Road, with a taco grilled cheese sandwich and/or a taco sub.
Both are filled withtaco meat, lettuce, cheddar, sour cream, homemade pico de gallo and jalapeños. The grilled cheese is $9.99, which comes with one side and a drink.
The sub is $10.99, which comeswith one side salad and a drink.
Cancun,4409 Chapman Highway in South Knoxville, will celebrateCinco de Mayo with margarita, tequila and beer specials all day Saturday. The list of beverage specialsinclude $5 Altos shots, $7 for 32-ounce XX Draft, $8 jumbo house margaritas, $9 jumbo top-shelf margaritas, $14 for pitchers of house margaritas and $3.50 for bottled beer.

May-A-Rita is back at Ruby Tuesday with new flavors, including the award-winning, top-shelf CasamigosBlanco Tequila margarita, which is available throughout the month.
A three-day Cinco de Mayo celebration will be held Friday through Sunday at Chuy's, 9235 Kingston Pike.
On Friday the party will kick off with happy hour from 4 to 7 p.m. with drink specials including $1 off Corona and Corona Light beers and $1 floaters to add to your margarita of choice. The night's food special will be a fully loaded Nacho Car made with chips, salsa fresca, queso, ground sirloin and more.
On Saturday drink specials will include domestic beers, house Texas martinis and Chuy's popular margaritas made with fresh-squeezed lime juice. $1 floaters and $1 off Corona and Corona Light beers also will be available.
Sunday's $5 Tito's Bloody Marys will help to soothe the stomach of Cinco de Mayo celebrators who may have overindulged on Friday and Saturday. The special menu for Sunday includes Southwestern Enchiladas made with hand-pulled chicken, blue corn tortilla, green chile sauce and topped with a fried egg.
Cinco de Mayo at Carolina Ale House, 9045 Kingston Pike, will be observed with $15 buckets of Corona or Corona Light or a $10 CoronaRita made with its popular Grand Silver Margarita. A special Cinco de Mayo menu will include chicken enchiladas and tortilla soup.
Hard Rock Cafe will be celebrating Cinco de Mayo with a secret word special. Through Sundaycustomers who acknowledge the secret word "Rockin" to their server while ordering a Rockin' Fresh Rita will be charged $5 for a co*cktail that's made with silver tequila, fresh lime juice, agave nectar and a slightly spicy salt rim.

A $10 wristband will give guests access to Southbound Knoxville, the Loft at Southbound, One One Seven, Wagon Wheel, Hannas Old City and Merchants of Beer where Cinco de Mayo specials will include $3 Corona and Corona Light andspecials on El Jimador tequila. Taco food trucks will be available throughout the evening.

New breakfast eatery in Knoxville's Rocky Hill community hopes to succeed in a location others have not.

A Mexican Fiesta menu, margarita mimosa specials, margarita on the rocks special and live music on the newly opened patio will be held Saturday during Cinco de Mayo at Scrambled Jake's, 7428 S. Northshore Drive.
An all-day 11 a.m.-10 p.m.Cinco de Mayo party will be held Saturday at Abuelo's Mexican Restaurant, 11299 Parkside Drive. It will include $6.95 flag margaritas and $5 Mexican draft beer.
Babalu, 412 S. Gay St., is celebrating Cinco de Mayo with five unique Cinco de Mojitos created by their bartenders. The mojitos will be available all weekend for $5 each.
